After preparing all the things from May to June 2019, we successfully finished our MHX 3.0 this year. Amazingly, 17 Schools from Tangerang Selatan, Tangerang and Jakarta has joined the competition this year. On 11 September (Wednesday), MHX 3.0 was opened by the Supervisor of SMP Gugus 2, Mr Lukbi. He really appreciate this event, he hoped that by joining this event, it would improve students’ enthusiasm and increase students’ confidence in English and also in tahfidz.
Whilst August has been filled with busy preparation for High school students, game exhibitions and friendly match, of the MHX competition. It proved to be another exciting month fixing matches between SMP Budi Mulia, SMPI Amalina, and teachers against students of MHX boys and girls basketball team. Moreover, the team of tahfidz (Hagy G9 and Kia G8A) and Speech (Farrel and Michelle G9) had its own public test. Again, it was hosted on the MHIS main campus. The results were quite astonishing, before the MHX begin. It gave students feeling of confidence before the real game started!
Before the real game, MHX 3.0 held technical meeting in front observation room of MHIS. It was attended by almost all participants. During the technical meeting the MHX 3.0 committee explained all details, rules and regulations, Q&A answer session, and the drawal also sozialisation of fixture schedule before the real game started. Alhamdulillah everything ran well.

Opening Ceremony
The MHX 3.0 2019 competition had begun on September 11 right
at 7.00 AM at Big Field MHIS. Previously participant doing re-registration at
the front welcomed by shifa and meisya G12 with ms Aul Guided them. After that
students secured participants’ belongings from dangerous tools and equipment
that can harm other people or from any misconduct behavior such as vandalism
action around the school with fardan (G8), Keca (G8), Uma (G8), Jasmine, and
Sultan (G9) as the officer in charge in the front post. Moreover participants
were liaised by some chosen students to the big field venue and started to line
up at 7.30 AM and they have opening ceremonies to follow and Kia G8 performed
very well as the Quran Reciter from secondary division . We are very lucky to
have special guest, supervisor from DIKNAS, Mr. Muhammad Lukbi, M.Pd.,
finishing with the free throw shot around the ring which officially opened this
once in two year event. Alya from G8 and Atthala from G11 act as our main host
and co-hosts for that lovely morning. It was closed with perceiving doa by Gyan
from G.7A
Alya as the co host also being in the squad of the epic
performance Ratoh Jaroe traditional Dance. Yes, this MHX 3.0 opening ceremony
started with the welcoming traditional dance of “Ratoh Jaroe” from students in
grade 7 and 8. They opened the ceremony by reflecting enthusiasm, spirit, and
excitement of the game. All participants and guests applauded from the epic
performance they exhibited.
The Game
The Tahfidz was taken place in Mushola Second Floor on the
first day September 11th from 8AM to 11PM. The judges were Ustadz Durrachman
and Ustadz Samsudin S.Ag. In this mushola building, 11 participants gather and
taking up their chest number. They took turn lead by the host, Dyan and Co Host
by Egan with Mr Khairullah’s guidance. Alhamdulillah everything ran well for
tahfidz.
In different venue, Basketball was also held with Zidan as
host triumphed with the energizer songs played along the game. With a total of
17 games of 11 boys team and 7 girls team matched in two different days, these
games brought cheers, joy, disappointment, resilience, sweat and tears on the
games. Alhamdulillah everything run well for basketball.
The speech contest also ran as Kalisya become the good host
and the judges are professionally appointed from ILP. It was held on the second day Sept 12th 2019
from 8 to 11 AM. alhamdulillah this event also run well. From 12 participants, MHX choose 3 winners,
and Farrel G9 came at the first place.
Behind the success of MHX 3.0 this year, there is a great
teamwork between teachers, students, and parents. All of the students have their own part. Some
of the students in charge of checking ID card and the stuff, be the ushers to
guide the students’ from other schools, and be the SAMAN dancer for the opening
the MHX 3.0. Thank you, students !

“I think that this year’s MHX 3.0 was a success. Honestly, we
did have a few obstacles and difficulties during the preparation. Everything is
a learning process though. The preparation was super amusing and full of fun
and new experiences. The day before MHX was very hectic, we were scrubbing the
field when suddenly the tree got chopped so all our hard work was taken for
granted such a fun and new experience for me. We learned how to organize an
event, we learned how to be good hosts and most importantly we got to develop
our own skills in the preparation for the competitions. Congratulations to the
speech and tahfidz winners! During the day, we met lots of new friends. I heard
that the participants also liked the event because they felt that we were very
welcoming. There are still some grey areas and some room for improvement but I
hope MHSU’s next batch can make a more amazing, bigger and a better MHX.” -
